Payment for Therapy
My fee is $175 for a 45 to 50 minute therapy hour. I accept private payment and, as a licensed California mental health professional, I can provide treatment for you that is covered – at least in part – by every PPO (non-HMO) insurance. While I am not a “contracted (reduced rate) provider” with insurance companies, I can provide a statement that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service and may be made in cash or by check, Zelle, or Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card.

All you actually know about the therapists on your insurance company’s provider directory is that they’ve contracted to work at reduced rates. I can sometimes apply a sliding fee scale to help with affordability
Some mental health problems can be treated swiftly by a skilled therapist, while others require extensive treatment, which I can provide, as well. I am skillful at helping and empowering clients to accomplish a great deal over a relatively short time through effective psychotherapy tailored to each clients’ needs and goals. I bring exceptionally extensive, sophisticated, active knowledge of the latest psychological science to the psychotherapy I practice. I am a specialist in treatment of anxiety disorders. I can often help clients overcome problems that other therapists – including specialists – cannot.
